Wet Area Membranes
Inseal covers all aspects of wet area membrane waterproofing applications. The type of substrate that requires waterproofing will determine the type of membrane adopted. Some wet area membrane systems are rigid (class 1) with very little flexibility, whilst others have excellent extensibility (class 3). These flexible membranes owe themselves to waterproofing wet areas expecting deflection and movement such as plywood substrates. The correct design and installation of the wet area membrane system is of equal importance in ensuring a successful outcome. This includes the incorporation of sufficient falls in the floor, outlets, up stands and wall linings. Use the contact form below to discuss your wet area membrane requirements and or arrange for a non-obligation site visit.
